The World

Hard to believe that in this world there is so much negativity. I have to go back to the time of the Native Americans and wonder, what would all their Elders say about how the earth is treated now?

I hope its not too late for the humans, for this place we call earth will shake human beings off like fleas on a dog, if we continue along the same path.

Hard to believe that this morning Australian time of course, a young sixteen year old woman started on her solo journey to sail around the world. Albeit, controversial I am totally impressed and will continue to follow her journey that is planned. Eight months is a long time to be alone and keeping in contact via email, blog, and video. But she is one determined young woman….this mum is IMPRESSED! Keep up to date with her on her website

Sailing Around The World

Sailing Around The World

While Splashin Cheyenne during Cheyenne Frontier Days, I had to take some shots of family and their favorite things.
This mare is my daughter’s favorite one even if she can hardly ride her, and as they say she is “fluffy” from eating everyone else’s portion. She is beautiful and majestic.

Splash is a APHA Sabino mare about 8 years old. She had been a brood mare for most of her life and with the help of her husband “The Sheriff” they got her to a point of being able to trust my daughter to ride.

Her babies are really awesome being long legged, tall, wonderfully built and exceptional blue eyes.

The Lake

First Day Of "The" Boat

Hard to believe that we sold our beloved SeaDoo’s to buy a 1980’s cuddy cabin 21 foot boat. The SeaDoo’s were the fastest thing on the lake excluding the big boats. Seventy miles per hour is too fast for me, so I would putz along at 45-50 and many times a bunch slower.

So here we are with a boat that needed engine work and now needs new upholstery, new Bimini top, and a good wash.

Funny enough, it is more comfortable and actually more fun than the SeaDoo’s. Wish we could have both and a motor home to get away. Oh yeah, a truck to just haul that monster boat would be wonderful.

But, “Big Italian” loves driving his new toy.

The “best” one!

I sit here wondering how my fotos will be looked at when I’m gone. Will they all say that I was always so worried about getting the “perfect”? Or will they say she loved the photography, but really she wasn’t that good. Either way, it would be fun to be that fly on the wall after I’m gone and sit and laugh at all the truthful comments.

Wouldn't it be fun to be a fly on the wall?

TRY IT ON FOR SIZE

New blog for the totally undecided blogger. Little bits of some stuff and a lot of photos.
